Sustainable Living Association Bike Tour

Bikes
In August of 2014, Soil Stewardship hosted the Sustainable Living Association at our worm farm during their annual Fort Collins “Tour de Farm” Bike Tour. Dozens of people biked to the farm where we showed them our beautiful horses and worms and showed off the processes of vermicomposting. We had a great time meeting people and sharing with them what we do best here at Soil Stewardship.

We took a large group of people from our Tour de Farms event to the Soil Stewardship Farm. Kathy, along with her family and friends, were well prepared to educate the group on their method of composting with worms. We saw every step in their entire process to make the best compost. I was impressed with every detail they provided the group. It was one of the group’s favorite stops on our bike tour. I look forward to bringing another group to Soil Stewardship in the future. If you are looking for information on the best way to compost, Kathy is the person I recommend to contact.
